During the 70’s and the 80’s, many generations of Greek boys (mostly) grew up dreaming of being “like Roy”… The Roy of the Rovers comic strip was first published in Greece in 1971 in “Zagor” magazine, under the title “Roy Race” and it lasted for 2 years.
